| HWSA usually sponsors
a women's tournament every fall. In addition, currently
registered teams are eligible to participate in any USASA
sanctioned tournament (i.e. a tournament that requires
player ID cards). You must have current player ID cards
for ALL players participating in a tournament. Teams planning to play in tournaments outside the jurisdiction of the Texas State Soccer Association South (essentially Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Beaumont, Brownsville and El Paso) must have a travel permit. It is suggested that you begin this process several weeks before the tournament. The steps are as follows:
