Online Player Registration Instructions
Spring Season 2008

Online
player registration is now open for new and returning teams, as are the team pages for you to
personalize. To register your players please go to:
http://hwsahouston.org/
The player registration meeting is WEDNESDAY, 30 JANUARY, 6:30pm at the Black Labrador Pub (4100 Montrose, just north of Richmond Ave.). Teams must register a minimum of 11 players to participate in the spring season.
Forms & player cards will be needed for all players that did not play the Fall 2007 season. Please note that the registration fee per a player is now $35.

From the Hotstat
home page click on HWSA Spring 2008 Teams, which should give you a full division
structure with all the teams listed. The division structure is
subject to change.

Click on your
team name and it’ll take you to your team page, where you’ll need to
click on LOG IN in the top right corner. The next page is the LOG IN page, and if you already have a PIN, enter it here. If you don’t
have a PIN or have forgotten yours, click on the line that says:
Don't have a PIN, or you've
forgotten it? Use the email address
you used to register as manager on your team application form and
your PIN will be sent to you. You are welcome to change your PIN
later.

Once you receive
your PIN and are able to log in, you’ll have access to your team’s
home page. From here, click on Maintain
Team Roster. Teams returning from the fall
2007 season can click on Team Player Pool"
where you will be able to select from all players who were on your
team in the fall. Please edit your players' info so that it's
current, then save it, and then add your new players by using the
Add Player to Team
or Create Multiple Players link (see #4 below). New teams should use the
Add Player to Team
or Create Multiple Players link to create the roster (see #4 below).

For new players,
you'll have the choice of entering full
information on each player once, or entering partial information on
a bunch of players all at once. Your choice. Either way,
you MUST enter the following fields
for every new player:
- first and last name
- full address
- email address
- player ID # (only for returning players -- this is the number on
the player’s ID card)
- date of birth

This is the same
process you will use throughout player registration.

Players will not
be eligible to play until their paperwork is turned in at the next
league meeting, 6:30 pm, 30 January, at the Black
Labrador.
Only NEW players (those who did
not play in the fall 2007 season) must have a signed registration form and player
card.
- Please bring
completed registration materials for all new players, a
printed copy of your roster (showing new and returning players) and appropriate payment ($35 per player) to
the player registration meeting (6:30
pm, 30 January at the Black
Labrador).
Any
questions can be directed to the women's or coed league
commissioners or the registration
administrator (team reps only, please).
